Thanks Henry, Maren, Sarah, Brian, and Joe for keeping us entertained lately. The rest of us need to take a few pointers from you all.
Today, I'm planning on going to Costco and Target with Ruth. We've been spending a lot of time together lately. It's nice. I guess your uncle El and aunt Vaughn are also coming into town this week, so you're mom is all stressed out about getting the house ready for her guests. She'll have the place looking soo good.
That's one nice thing living out here...I've learned a lot about your extended family. And I've met quite a few of them. Your cousin Katie, aunt Kitty (a couple of times) and her husband Peter, uncle Ellis and aunt Vaughnie (I guess that's how you spell her name), and aunt Susan and her husband (I forgot his name). But I guess I'm doing pretty well at getting to know your relatives. I only have 2 more living uncles to meet (Henry and Bob's younger brother) until I've met all of the living Patterson/Stearns aunts and uncles.
OK. I have a quiz for all of the Patterson siblings...in laws can try, too. Name your mom's 5 brothers and sisters in order from oldest to youngest. (Just so you know, Rob TOTALLY got it wrong when we tried it the other day!!)
The winner gets a KING SIZE candy bar of their choice. Sorry, Ruth, you can't play. You have an unfair advantage...neither can Bob. I will give everyone a week...so you all have until Oct 5 to respond. And no cheating (by asking Ruth). Just name her siblings from off the top of your head.

Ok, here's what I think:
Ellis, Shirley, Wheezy (sp?), Henry, Butch, Boosie
The ones I'm least sure about are Weezy and Henry - maybe they're switched. But, that's my "final answer."
Ellis, Shirley, Walter Coquille, Henry Daniel, Alween Shank, and Ruth Evelyn.
Their dad's name is Ellis Johnson Stearns, Jr. and their mom's is Ruth Evelyn Coquille Stearns.
Although I lost big time, that's some interesting info for all y'all. Ellis is a good name, no?
OK. Next time you guys are here in VA, I'll give you your King size candy bars. Hee hee. We just want visitors out here cause we can't afford to visit all ya'll.
