I've got one! I actually have an interesting childhood memory! Life wasn't completely boring in the Davis house growing up!!! I think the Patterson gals will appreciate this blog.
When I was 13, I saw an ancient picture of my mom when she was about 13 (of course, that picture was taken, like, 100 years ago). She had a cute, 60s hair style with flat bangs and shoulder-length hair that flipped up. At that time, I also had shoulder-length hair and bangs. I thought it would be really funny to do my hair like my mom's when she was younger. So, instead of curling my bangs up (like I normally did in that awesome era of the early 90s), I curled them under. I also flipped my hair. I went to my mom's old-clothes closet and found a shirt that she wore way back in the 70s (it's actually kinda cute...brown and yellow thin stripes with a V neck and 3/4 length sleves...I think I would wear it now).
After I put on the shirt, I went into the kitchen where my mom was. After I said, Hey Mom! She turned around and saw me. She screamed almost at the top of her lungs while she put both of her hands on my cheeks.
As she was looking at me, eye to eye, she kept screaming and said, "It's like I'm looking in the mirror! I feel like I've gone back in time!!!"
I laughed and told her how I had found her old picture and wanted to see how much I could look like her. I think I did a pretty good job of it!
