In the past two days, I have learned even more of what a disgusting job it is to be a mom.
Colden is recovering from the flu. On Sunday, he threw up 3 times. Twice on me and once in the car on the way to church (I know...we should have stayed home, but both Rob and I had to do stuff at church and I couldn't think of anyone to watch Colden). Car seats are a PAIN to clean.
This morning, I woke up to a happy Colden, covered in diaherea. Rob bathed him while I soaked his clothes and changed his sheet and mattress pad. When he woke up from his morning nap, he diaherea-ed through yet another outfit. At least it didn't get all over his bed this time.
Luckily, it was only baby throw-up and baby-diaherea. It could have been worse!

Hey Angie. I'm praying for Colden and for you two. Hang in there. I remember one time when all of us had the flu from both ends for about a week when either Cami was little or I was pregnant. I had little piles of poop and barf clothes throughout the house because I couldn't keep up with the laundry and the laundry room was overflowing. At least it's something to laugh about now. Now when Camille gets the stomach flu, she says, "I have to burp in the toilet!" And she runs to the toilet. Love, Elice
Diarrhea = Durchfall.
Durchfall directly translated means to "fall through". Essentially, that's what the poo is doing. Too bad he's not older so he can clean his own durchfall.
sick!
Oh wow... So this is what I was missing. Yummmm. I just can't wait to have my own child.
Luv, Sarah
