In Burney and Lovin It

We safely arrived in Burney yesterday and we're loving it here. We can see why Sarah and Brian decided to buy 2 houses here. We sure wouldn't mind taking regular vacations here!! Sarah and Brian have a really nice set up here, too. You can tell that they just come up here to relax. Sarah has a whole room (and hallway closet) dedicated to her scrapbooking supplies. Brian has his Play Station...so while Brian plays video games, you can pretty much bet that Sarah is scrapbooking and making all of her darling cards.
Burney is a great small town, too. Yesterday when I went to the store, 3 people asked me if I was finding everything just fine...because they knew I wasn't a local. Colden and I went to the park earlier and made friends with some other locals. Tonight, we all went swimming at the local pool (just a block away). Staying here reminds me of the small towns I grew up in: Moab and Delta. It feels safe here...and I LOVE the smell of fresh pine. Oh, and the mornings are nice and cool, and it never really gets too hot.
Oh, and to top it all off, one of their neighbors has wireless internet. So, we're getting this Internet connection for free right now! Sweet. Well, I thought that we should let everyone know that we still exist. Looks like Blogging is slowing down for everyone. We'll be seeing the Fords this weekend, Joe in a couple of weeks, and the rest of you guys in a month! We'll keep you posted!
