Busy, busy, busy

I haven't posted because I've been.....busy.
We're trying to get the house ready to put on the market...and there is SO MUCH MORE WORK THAN I EVER REALIZED. I've been working at this frantic pace...then I realized that it won't be the end of the world if we wait until mid-April to put it on the market. So, now I'm relaxing a little and taking a few breaks.
So far, we've completely repainted the outside, repainted all the trim and ceilings in the house, decluttered the office (way over due), and I've been going through boxes in the attic to see what we still need and what we don't need. How did we get so much stuff? We've only been married 5 years! Anyway...we still need to weed several "flower" beds, pick up sticks, mow the lawn, refinish the deck, paint the shed, scrape paint off of windows, add mulch to the "flower" beds, aye aye aye. I can't wait until this thing sells!

Yuck!

No fun cleaning and painting, but just picture dollar signs everytime your back hurts or you're tired. $$$

Good luck getting it all ready. We'll be in your shoes this time next year! AHHH!

It's so much work getting a house ready for sale, but it's so worth it when you're finally ready to show the place. Luis and I did that with both our condo and our home last year - de-cluttered and made it look as much like a model home as possible. Paid off both times!

I wish you, Rob & the boys the best with the sale. And save some time to scrapbook with BooLaRue! :-)
