A normal occurrence happened in our house today. Dylan had a poopy diaper. However, it changed into an adventure.
As Rob proceeded to change his diaper, Dylan tried the Houdini routine. Rob called in for reinforcements. When I arrived, Dylan's semi-clean bum was nowhere near the diaper changing pad...nor the ground. His head and back were twisted in an escape attempt as Rob tried desperately to wipe his bum. I grabbed Dylan's legs in an effort to help. My aid proceeded to help Dylan into a head-stand. This crazy diaper-changing position forced Rob and I into wild hysterics. Amid laughs and up-side-down-Dylan smiles and laughs from the sidelines (aka Colden), Rob successfully finished wiping the boy's bum. At the end of the adventure, I let go of Dylan's legs and he quickly and nakedly crawled onto Colden's bed for a little bit of free play.

Oh, the joys of changing diapers. Max already knows that if he bends his legs, we can't secure the diaper correctly. Boy, does he love doing that and smiling at us with a mischevious grin.
