That was Colden's joke for Trick or Treating tonight...and it worked. St. Louisans request a trick or a joke in order to get a treat. I'm not one to memorize 1001 one-liner jokes, so I put it off until this afternoon and came up with that jewel. The people loved it. But it only worked when he was next to Dylan.
We went to the mall and picked up loads of candy...and then we gave away most of the cheap stuff to the Trick or Treaters who came to our house after the kids went to bed (nice). Dylan opened one sucker while we were at the mall and was very vocal all the way home (his sugar high). Then we stopped by a ward member's house in our neighborhood. They let us in and the great-grandma helped Dylan unwrap 3 other suckers, which he sucked on simultaneously. Anyway, Happy Halloween, kids, this holiday is for you.

That's fun you get to go to the mall to trick-or-treat. Never done that! Cute costumes!
