I missed the last ScrapFaith challenge deadline due to a design glitch. I'm stumped and I just can't finish my page. However, I felt like I should include the text on here in case I never end up finishing the scrapbook page. So, this is for you (mostly family and some friends)...and for my kids (because someday, I will print up my blogs and put them in a binder because, frankly, this is my best journal).
Challenge: Your core beliefs in 5 or fewer concepts.
1. Children of God
2. Charity
3. Faith
4. Agency
5. Jesus Christ
(Now, imagine those concepts embossed in gold spiraling on a sheet of white decorated vellum...with Jesus Christ as the center. That's as far as I got in my design. I wanted my design to be symbolic of my beliefs as well...the spiral symbolizes Truth as one eternal round and everything points to Christ yet everything is still related to each other. I wanted it to look pure and heavenly...so I chose white and gold. My design flaw...the spiral doesn't stand out when I cut it and I don't know how best to distress it when cut or to just draw the spiral on, I don't know how to attach it without it spiraling out of control, and I don't know how to incorporate hidden journaling...something I'm not very good at...since I'm mainly working with vellum.) Anyone have any suggestions?
Rough draft journaling:
1. Each of us is a literal child of God. He fathered our spirits, He knows us as a Father, and He loves us individually. I have felt His love.
2. As we are of the same spiritual family, we ought to have Charity, or the pure love of Christ, toward one another. There should be love among nations, neighbors, friends, and within families. We should also love God back by seeking Him in prayer and doing what He asks...which mostly has to do with love.
3. I have faith that God is, that He sent His Son--Jesus Christ--to mark the path to follow and to overcome sin and death through the atonement and resurrection. I have faith in prayer, in prophets--ancient and modern, in scriptures, in the Priesthood, that families can be sealed together forever, in Church, in good people, in eternity.
4. I believe in agency. We are sovereign to ourselves, and as such, we are accountable for our choices, whether they are good or bad. Agency is an essential part of each human being.
5. I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. He is the author of salvation. He is the Creator of all and He loves all. He is my Lord and my King. I worship Him.

It sounds just heavenly! Is this a digital layout? I can't tell and if you want the spiral to pop out...what about foam squares or inking or sanding the spiral? If it is digital, maybe you could just do the spiral after you've printed out the page digitally. I don't really know what to tell you since I can't see it.
Great journaling. It sounds like you've spent a lot of time thinking about this. I hope you can get it to work out for ya.
Even if you never make the page (which I hope you do) just to have this written down is fabulous. And wasn't it hard putting it into 5 statements or less? I made up that challenge and then WOW....what a challenge it was!
Beautiful testimony!
It's not digital...I'm working on vellum...and I don't work with it much so I don't know how to use it. Maybe I'll bring it to UT with me and you can help me brainstorm.
