Giving Thanks

What a nice weekend. I just love Thanksgiving and the weekend that goes with it. I love spending time with my little family and with extended family. It's great that school is out, that most people don't have to work, and that we have the time to spend time with each other.

We drove all the way down (12 1/2 hours) to Houston, Texas, to spend the weekend with Rob's sister, Maren, and her family. We had planned on having family at our house, but it ended up better for everyone for us to go down there. I'm glad we made the drive, even if the weather wasn't the balmy southern Texas weather we were hoping for.

Colden is testing out his new Doctor's kit on his cousin, Trevor. Look close...he's checking if Trevor has a bean in his nose (see Bean Post for the full story).

On Friday, we went to the human body museum. Cousins Alex and Trevor are trying to pick the poor kid's nose...Colden and Rob are actually posing.

We didn't bring a bib for Dylan...so he ended up in the kitchen sink a few times to clean off. I love how this picture turned out...it shows one of his growing-up-glimpses...he looks less like a toddler and more like a little kid here. Love those lashes.

Looks like you guys had a fun time! Add 10 more hours on that trip and you could've come to Utah! We're excited to see you guys for Christmas!

Ha! Ha! Funny pictures...figures they'd be trying to pick the nose. :-) Glad you had a great time with Maren & family!
