Once Upon A Time...

There was a yellow hairplane. It was flying in the sky. Around and around. Then it landed.
Takes another airplane out of the box.
Once upon a time, there was a blue hairplane. It was flying around and around. Then it landed.
Another airplane comes out of the box.
Once upon a time, there was a baby yellow hairplane. It was flying and hers looked for hers Mommy. Then it landed.

Tonight, it was Colden's turn to give the lesson for Family Home Evening. It was his very first lesson. We thought he would give a lesson about Noah and the Ark because he pulled the folder out with the Noah game in it. But he surprised us. He went downstairs and brought up his box of airplanes. Then he gave his lesson to a captivated audience (well, to everyone but the wandering Dylan). Rob and I thoroughly enjoyed this story and we kept exchanging glances of surprise, wonder, and pride.

That's so cute! Hairplane! That's a good idea to have them teach a lesson. They probably get more out of it and build confidence! Good job, Colden!

So fun - it's great to see what they come up with, isn't it? My cousins little 3 year old was doing 'jumping jacks for Jesus' the other day. :) They are pretty original!

What a cute story. Love the "hairplane" - I could hear his little voice saying it.

I love it. "Tell me the stories of Jesus" said the mom to her little boy. Then he went to get his gun and saw turtle in the road and shot it and came back home.
