Tribute to Dylan

Dylan has always had a sweet, happy nature. His face often exhibits this nature. The day he was born, we noticed his darling dimples...and he's generous in showing them to us often. His darling eyes do a happy squint when he smiles. He often melts my heart.

Dylan is quick to give me hugs, although he's not very cuddly. He soaks up the one-on-one attention that he gets, but he's also content to be on his own. He's very independent and sometimes very opinionated. For a 2-year-old, he's quite good at sharing, too.

Dylan's mind is very bright and quick to learn. He is extremely self-motivated at learning. At his own initiative, he has learned his colors, most of his shapes, several numbers, and several letters. He loves books and often goes to sleep during nap time with a book or two in his crib. He has always loved anything to do with music. He picks up songs quickly and loves to sing.

Dylan is a very active boy. When I'm in the other room and I hear quick feet running toward me, I know that it's Dylan. He has a great pensive and persistent side, too. I'll often catch him deep in thought...or working intently at accomplishing something.

I sure love my little guy, Dylan.

Dylan looks just like Rob! Is that exactly what Rob's little kid pics look like?
