Evelyn Coquille Patterson

That's going to be our baby girl. We just decided tonight to give her that name. I first mentioned it to Rob a few months ago, but we didn't want to decide "for sure" until we did the whole name search thing.
Well, we haven't done that process yet, but we still really like that name. For sentimental reasons. Evelyn is the middle name of Rob's mom. Coquille is the maiden name of his grandmother. So, it's a heritage name that we both really like (sorry, Stouts and Davises, I just couldn't find a name on that side of the family that I really liked...however much I love and adore the women in my heritage).
Have I posted yet that I am so ready for this baby to get here? Yesterday, I tried to put Dylan's hair in pigtails...just so I could try to imagine what a Patterson girl would look like. Well, whatever she looks like, she'll be darling. It'll be fun watching her personality unfold, too. That's why I'm anxious. I love my boys and their personalities so much, I'm just getting impatient to see who God has given to us this time.

I think you need to write how we pronounce the middle name! I know you told me a while ago, but I forgot.
Where's the picture of Dylan in pigtails? Girls are fun!

Yay - I guessed right! Awesome. Evelyn is my great aunt's name and I've always liked it.

Evie is a cute nick-name, too.

Congrats!

Evelyn is also Grandma Stearns middle name, and her mothers middle name. Great choice.

Coquille is pronounced like Coe-key.
