Pictures (on the other computer) and details forthcoming, but I thought I'll dish the basics before she's ready to feed again.
Evelynn Coquille Patterson
(Yes, we decided to spell her name with 2 n's. I preferred it that way originally. When Rob mentioned it to his mom, she said that her name was supposed to have 2 n's in it because her mom's and grandmother's names have 2 n's, but her name was mispelled on her birth certificate. And Coquille--pronounced koe-kee--is French for shell. It's the last name of Rob's ancestors. So, as cute as this name is...it's pure heritage.)
DOB: July 17, 4:08 am
Weight: 8 lbs 10 oz
Height: 22 inches
Another successful VBAC (Vaginal Birth After C-section). And a 4 1/2 hour labor. Yeah, baby!
She's a doll. Her brothers adore her, and so does her dad...and mom. She sleeps well and eats well, although we're still getting into the habit of latching on correctly...a painful endevor.
I think that she has Colden's eyes and mouth. Her hair is light brown. She looks quite a bit different from her brothers. You'll see.
