Okay, so truth be told, I'm not excited about either Presidential candidate. But I'm voting for McCain because I feel like he's the lesser of 2 evils. I just received this video in an email and I have to post it. I could never, no never, vote for someone who supports this kind of horrible thing to happen. I couldn't even watch this to the end. It's about live birth abortion...a practice that Obama supports.

That is so terrible. That is the same reason I could never vote for Obama.
So funny...McCain was supportive of abortion at some point, so I guess you can't actually vote for him either. But then again, he's going with the party views now, so I guess you can. Apart from that though, I'm looking forward to seeing Obama win. I'd rather have someone with brains and honesty in the White House, even if I don't agree with all his views, than a McCain, who left his wife for a trophy wife, has his wife's millions from the beer industry, who wastes $150,000 on his vice president's ward robe, and...well, you get the idea!
And I'll shut up now.
I saw that video a while ago and it was heartbreaking! I, too, don't want to vote for either candidate but CANNOT vote for one who supports this!
P.S. I thought I should add that I think the whole abortion, partial birth abortion etc. is truly horrible, too. It's almost unbearable to me to think that these things happen, and that people support it and are ok with it. So, I truly wish that these things wouldn't be happening, and that we could find an effective way to deal with this issue. And, it really bothers me that Obama is pretty supportive of these things. However, I think no matter who's elected Roe vs. Wade won't be overturned, and I can still support Obama because I know he doesn't want people to go and have abortions. He thinks this is something that should be done with careful consideration and after discussion with doctors, religious leaders etc.
But overall, still horrible that ANYONE is ok with these things happening!
