Evelynn communicates with us a lot. She doesn't say words yet, but those eyes, her looks, those screams, and her grunts sure say a lot.
Last night, after I fed her bottle to her, I rocked her for a minute and just cuddled with her. She pushed away from my chest and just looked at me with those deep, penetrating eyes. I asked her if she was ready to go to sleep. As she looked at me, she nodded her head in agreement. Shocked, I hugged her and put her to bed.
I tried it again tonight, but she just wanted to climb all over the rocking chair. Oh, well. I still believe that she understood me last night. I still believe that she's smart!

I can't believe how fast she is growing and how blond she is. Looks like you had a great reunion glad it was a fun time with family that is always great.
G=T?
Thanks for the subtle editing hint. It's fixed.
Well, I hate to say it, but it's actually spelled 'intelligence'.
Ironic that this particular subject title was oozing with spelling mistakes. ;)
Ang, Speaking of Evelyn communicating, Tim uses the sign for "more" a lot and it looks exactly like what Evelyn's hands are doing in that picture! :)
