Yes, while I was in New York, I had my chance at stardom. An NBC representative came up to me in the middle of the street and asked if I could participate in a show they filmed just this last Wednesday. The "stars" of this show were...preggy people!!
She told me I was perfect for the show. I should have drilled her to find out what it was about. But I told her I was only visiting and wouldn't be in town this week. (Dang it! Maybe I could have had them fly Rob and me up there and hook us up in the Plaza Hotel or something! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!)
So, I disappointed her and she went to go find someone else.
This person was a real, live NBC worker. Can you believe that? She even wore that NBC polo shirt. I felt SOOO special that day. I mean, I could have been a star!! Wow. I would have been, like, popular!
Looks like I blew my chance at stardom!
