Another Food/Diet Theory

For those of you who are interested, check out this web site:

http://www.ellynsatter.com/Pages/HowToEat.htm

It's actually similar to my philosophy of eating. When I hear the word "diet," I think, "yeah right. Like that'll work." So, it's an interesting theory to think that our bodies can self-regulate our food consumption. We just need to learn how to understand exactly what our bodies are saying to us.

Let me know what you think.

I agree also, to a certain point. If we get good at listening to our body and eat things in moderation, I think that we can learn self-regulation. But when we eat refined foods like bleached and denatured sugar and flour and whatever else, they have been altered from their natural state and one of the "side effects" is that they are highly addictive and mess up your body's ability to self regulate. I think eating a whole-food diet is key to self-regulation.

p.s. If I listen to my body, I would eat banana splits all day every day.

I LOVE your comments!! And, I almost don't want a birthday cake this year because we already have so much SUGAAARRRR in the house. Maybe Camille can come visit us for her SUGAAR fix.
