Courage

When I sit and think of it, I am in awe at the courage that this is taking Rob to do...a second time. Let me just give you a sample at why Rob is so courageous to do this, again.

The cost. It probably cost us $5000 last year, and it's probably costing $7000 this year. Rob's courageous to chase after his dream because he's not letting the cost get in his way. If it were me, I would be cautious and just apply to a handful of schools because I would think that is all we can afford. But not Rob. He's going all out. He applied to more schools this year than he did last year. He also has more interviews. And he hasn't turned anything down cause we can't afford it...he's going to all that he can. Sure we're extra tight right now, but we're not lacking. We're just being extra careful with our expenses right now...and it's amazing how it will all work out within the next couple of months (yay for tithing!!).

The time. Who knows how many hours Rob spent filling out applications and organizing all of the tedious details that went with each application. I couldn't help him this year because Dylan was just a newby. (But I did help him last year.) He's also on the road and in the air A LOT during this month. He doesn't like it, and neither does his family, but we know how necessary this is for him to realize his dream. Courage takes time.

The unknown. This is where Rob would say that his courage fails him. He hates the unknown. But he has faith that things will work out, and that takes a lot of courage.

Anyway, I hope that this provides a little insight into your incredible brother/in-law/son/friend. We appreciate your prayers and your support. We feel it, even all the way over here in VA.
