Beating the Heat

We've been letting the boys run around in their diapers more...or just a diaper and a T-shirt. The boys also have been building things with an old Capsella set Rob had when he was a kid. After building the helicopter, Rob realized he couldn't get it to work the way it should. Colden enjoyed the demolition process...as he always does.

I also love that picture of Dylan. He looks so much like Rob did when he was a little guy.

I had to get a new haircut. It's a bob...and you can't really see the back very well...but I like it. I also like the picture. It's my model picture where I'm swinging my hair around like they do in commercials. The picture did come out blurry...but it's the one I like best. I think next time I'll go even shorter!

I also saw one of mom's scrapbook pages with you in it and it looks like you lost weight and mom said you did! Congrats! You look good! What's your secret?

My secret? Trying to stay ahead of two active boys...ice cream before bed no more than 3 times per week...occasional cardio workouts like running or biking...getting out of the house every day...trying not to eat too much. And when Rob says he wants to do something active as a family, I try not to complain and I just do it. :)
I hate diets and I refuse to do them.

OK, so I do all of that and only eat ice cream at bed time once a week! I cardio exercise twice a week and strengthen twice a week and I NEVER eat snacks during the day. But maybe that's my problem...I keep hearing that you need to eat 5 small meals a day and not just 3 big meals...hmmm...
