I've been reading New Year's goals all over the place, and honestly, I haven't given mine much thought about it this year. Until now.
My New Year's Goal for 2011:
To Survive
Anything else on top of that will be a fulfillment beyond my wildest dreams. Sure, I hope to organize my house more. Well, I would actually like to stay on top of my cleaning schedule even just for a week. Sure, I hope to stay on top of everything in Primary (so far, my attempts at that have failed...like trying to get to church on Sunday 45 minutes early so we could have the teachers' binders all ready for them for the new year, but just before I left in Rob's car, I mentioned how we should try to start the van...and the battery was worn down...and it took about 30 minutes to charge up...). Sure, I hope to enrich my mind by reading lots and learning lots (but I've got mushy pregnancy brain right now and I'll have mushy newborn mommy brain from May until...). Sure, I hope to inspire my kids to learn lots and maybe even have some more structure. Sure, I hope to market Rob's business so it's successful beyond our wildest dreams. Sure, I would love to make something crafty once in a while.
But we'll see. At least I can plan on surviving the year. So that's what I'll do.
